I have a Ruger Single Six 22 cal and love it. I am thinking of getting the Ruger Single Action Blackhawk Convertible and (357 to 9 mm} would appreciate comments from anyone who is familiar with this revolver.

I just recently got a .357 Vaquero.
I looked really hard at the BH convertible.
Two friends at work have them, and they love them.

If there had been a stainless steel version available, I would have been sorely tempted.

As it is, my Vaquero is one sweet Mama!
I bet you won't regret it, when you get it.

Just picked up a .357/9mm Blackhawk and had it out to the range for the first time last Sunday. The accuracy was what I expected out of the .357 cylinder but I was pleasantly surprised on the groupings I got with the 9mm cylinder. Becuase of the different round diameters I wasn't expecting much accuracy but except for the POI (since I adjusted my sights for the 158 gr .357 rounds) the groupings were about 2 to 3 inches. I was using Wolf ammo with steel cases so it took a minute or so before I could eject each round and then it still took a little extra push. Next time out I'll use brass cased ammo.
