I recently purchased a Ruger 77 MKII International. It came with a set of Ruger rings. I tried to ad a Bushnell Banner 3-9 scope this past weekend but find that while the scope mounts fine you cannot work the bolt due to lack of clearance with the scope. What are my alternatives?

Need more info but I'm guessing that your scope is in the 40MM+ range. Is your bolt handle hitting the rear bell and not clearing? Because of your scope, you may have to go to higher rings. I actually had to go to a set of see thru's. IMHO, your problem is in the scope and not the rings. Now that is what I call "Shooting from the hip"
