ruger rifle service department

On monday i sent out the stock on my Ruger M-77 MKII RBZ to the service department for replacement because it had a crack in the pistol grip. Has anyone else delt with the rifle service department? Will i get my stock back in time for firearms season (quite a way off 3months)? Just curious.

Cartman 308. A while back I sent a #1 rifle back for repairs. (bad barrel) When the gun was returned, the only original part was the receiver. It did take about 3 1/3 months to get the gun back though. I would say their service is excellent, but slow.

While I haven't sent them a rifle, I did have Ruger do some mods on a Blackhawk for me. Like Paul B. said workmanship was outstanding and they went thru the entire gun including parts I wasn't paying for. Their service is excellent, but slow. I think three months is about normal.
 
I got my stock back already.
ONE WEEK AND TWO DAYS!!!!!
of course all they had to do was send me a new one. but that is still FAST service!!!
