Mine in .44 mag. is a favorite. I have shot it tens of thousands time. Reloaded of course. Solid, accurate and reliable. I put Pachymar Presentation grips on mine. One of the best pistols ever made.
 
Check to make sure it wasn't one of the recalled ones. There was a batch from A LONG TIME ago that had the glue on the barrel applied wrong. Applied on Friday, put together on Monday.

Shoot it alot... Get Houge rubber grips )
 
I've had a stainless .44 mag with a 5 1/2" barrel since '94. I reload my own ammo, and it lets me play around a bit. I wish that I could find one in .45 Colt.

They are hell for strong. Shoot it. Enjoy it.

Its the 44 maggie, with semi high dollar Hogue wood stocks with finger grooves. Will pst a pic when I figure out how. (Technology challenged)
 
Ruger Redhawk

I just bought one in .41 Mag with a 7 1/2 barrel and a 2x Leopold scope. Hopefully, I will get to try it out next year in deer season! It is fun to shoot! Since I reload, ammo cost is kept down. Using a scope on a pistol takes some practice!

I love em, still looking for a 41 Redhawk to go with my 41 Blackhawk.
A 5-1/2" blue/wood, it's my grail gun. But I would settle on stainless!
Oh the sacrifices we make. ha ha !
