i have 3 redhawks all in 44. one 7.5 and 2 in 5.5. i broke a hammer link on one of the 5.5's a while back and now its out of time.i shoot it alot with lead bullets but the jsp 240 load is hot 24.8 grains of 296 .it has less than a 1000 through it.i shoot that load not because its hot but because it will split hairs .it has about 4000 lead bullets through it the lead load is lite 6.6 grains of unique..do you think the load caused it to get out of time? i do dry fire it alot and the hammer link did break while i was dry firing it.or is this just a freak thing ? will an action job cause one to get out of time faster than one without an action job ?
