I love shooting my 44 magnum Redhawk. I'm new to 44 magnum and it's quite an adrenaline rush every time I bring it to the range. My hands get sweaty and I have a hard time maintaining my grip with heavy loads. It slides around a little bit.
It originally had the hogue bantam grip which felt like holding a potato. I like the hogue monogrip on my GP100 so I got it for my Redhawk. It's much better than the bantam but it still gets slippery (I don't have that problem with the GP100, I guess it just fits my hand better).
With a glove on my shooting hand I can handle it just fine, even with my max loaded handloads. But I don't always plan on having a glove on when I carry it so I would like to practice that way.
Can anyone recommend a grip that has some more traction and maybe covers the backstrap?
