Ruger Red Hawk Police Marksman SE. 44Mag.

I just put a RH Police Marksman Special Ed. on lay away. It is stainless 6" barrel, incredible action and trigger "let off". It is like new with the yellow plastic cylinder cover in it. Can anyone tell me about this edition and when it was made and how much it should sell for?
I didn't care about the "special edition" as much as the way the gun felt, the action and sight picture.
It has special pachmyer grips as well.

Never heard of it before, I did find a set of 2 for sale that included a 7 1/2" RH and a 6" Security Six .357

I've never heard of it, or of anything other than 5.5 or 7.5 inch barrels.

The link above has pictures of the set. The one out of the broken set I picked up, is as "unfired". While it probley has had a handful of rounds through it, it looks new. I may be paying $50 too much for the pistol but what the heck, I want it! If I don't like it I will sell it and probley lose another $50 but what the heck, a dinner out with a bottle of wine is more than $50. I will post a picture when I get the gun.
