Ruger® 10/22® target lite

Picked up a Ruger 10/22 Target Lite yesterday. My only issue with it is that it has no sights. The rifle is only going to be used for plinking. The guy at the gun shop suggested that I put a Vortex Crossfire II 2-7x32 DH BDC on it. What glass would everybody suggest to put on it?

On a hunting rifle meant to be carried a lot a small, lightweight 2-7X scope makes sense. On a target rifle I'd go with a bigger scope with more magnification. A 3-9X40 minimum. I shoot my 22's at 100-250 yards quite often and more magnification helps beyond 50 yards.

You do have good taste

Looks like its for target use. Bushnell rimfire 6x18 w bdc. $140 on amazon

Yes, Target barrel and just looking for a neat scope of which is the real question of what to get. Also note that it has a threaded barrel and ready for a suppressor, compensator or hider. You do have good taste. …. :)

Good advice and a wise choice.

Very nice

When and if you have time, could you check the trigger pull on this beauty. I'm seeing "Target rifle" all over the place but can't tell if it's an OEM or not. On the Ruger Website listing in the Distributor Exclusive, there are dozen's of variations, but have not taken the time to look for this one. Once you get it set up, you are really going to enjoy it. ….. ;)

Enjoy and;

Excellent !!!

Pahoo, Trigger pull is right around 2.5 pounds very pleased with it.

I was kind of guessing or hoping that it might be in that range. That is good and will only get better with time. I'm happy for you and as I stated before, you have good taste. …… ;)

I have the Bushnell Rimfire 6-18 and it’s a great optic for the price.

Very nice.

I like the Weaver rimfire scope line. I have two and both are a good match to the gun.

Wife just got a Canadian Centennial 10/22. One of 2000 made. Debating if I should scope it.

What are your concerns ??

Not sure what you concerns might be as it really would not hurt anything And if you looking for improved performance with one, why not. These little beauties look good with or without. …… ;)

I helped out an acquaintance that damaged the receiver screw hole on his. I'm not looking for you to do that. ……

Ruger 10/22 target lite
What makes it lite? Is it the trigger? I would think the laminate stock would add a fair amount of weight.

Sorry if that's a dumb question.:o

I have a original 10/22 Sporter, bought new when first out. It has a K4x scope, Weaver
rings & bases. Rig is 50 some years old and will shoot into a Nickle at 40yds.
