Ruger PR-50mm objective scope , what height rings ?

I bought a new scope for my rifle and now need to know what height rings I need . I'm generally petty good on firearms knowledge but not when it comes to rings . I can't tell you how many sets of rings I have sitting around cus it often takes two or three try's to get it right .

It's a 30mm tube and the budget is $100 give or take some change . I'm not apposed to a one piece and in some ways might prefer it but a set of rings is fine with me . I don't want the objective setting way off the rail but it does not need to sit really close either , I'll likely get some flip caps for it so I'll at least need room for those .

Thanks in advance for any help you all can give :)

What base are you using?

I use EGW one piece bases. Since they are kinda tall, i get away with using low rings with my Sightron STAC 4-20X50, even with the sun shade.
I typically have good luck with either the Vortex Viper aluminium low rings (hunting rifles), and the Warne steel low rings.

Both Vortex and Warne have ring height guides on their websites.

besides what is geometrically possible with a rifle and scope combination, ring height will differ from person to person. Face and head size differs widely between people. Plus the type of hold, cheek weld and all of that is going to weigh heavily on the decision. You should be able to align eye and scope in the most neutral position possible.
Can’t really help beyond that, because it’s pretty individualistic in my book.

With that style rifle, I’ve used absolute co-witness with a 50mm objective with no issues.

Burris PEPR... although the mounts I quickly looked at online have picatinny rails on the rings, but the one I use doesn’t have them.
The adjustable cheek rest is helpful

Though rifle you have is a bolt action, it looks like AR stuff will work on it.
Interesting rifle for sure.

I went with rings rather then a one piece mount . I bought two sets , absolute co witness and another set slightly lower . FWIW they are Vortex rings . I’ll mount the scope this week and update , maybe with pics

Thanks all for your help
