Ruger PC-4 .40 cal carbine

I recently purchased a Ruger .40 cal pistol. I like the idea of the PC-4 because it will share bullets and magazines with my pistol.

three questions:

1. How acurate is this rifle?

2. How reliable is this rifle?

3. How far does a .40 go "with authority" from a carbine?

thanks.

My PC4 seems very accurate at close range (25 yards). It seems to really like +P 155gr. GD. I have not shot it past 25 yards. I have had very few problems with it. Almost 1000 rounds and can only remember 4 or 5 failures to properly eject and most of those were when the rifle was new. I would consider it extremely reliable. As far as distance I think I would go no further than about 50 or 60 yards unless it was an extreme emergency (like there's any other kind). You should really enjoy your new toy, I really love mine. BTW it has replaced my 870 pump as my "inside the house" defense gun.
