Ok, here's a question for P90/P97 owners out there. The new P97's come with 8 round mags but the base pads appear to be the same as my P90's 7 round mag pads. If someone were to take a mag base pad from a ProMag 8 round magazine (slightly extended) and put it on Ruger's new 8 round magazine would that give you a reliable 9 round magazine? Has anyone tried this? The ProMag 10 round mag I have sticks out way too much for practical carry purposes. Comments anyone?
