Does anyone know how to exchange the extractor on a Ruger P 90?
Recently, I got some problems with extraction/ejection. There is no problem if I load 3 of my hand-loaded rounds (200 gr Lead RN, 5.1 gr W 231, OAL 1.235") into the magazine. As soon as I load more, I have at least 2 failures to eject. WinClean 185 gr BEB, OAL 1.210" work flawlessly!!!
When I pull the extractor outwards with the finger, there is about 1/16" of slack after a little crappy resistance, so I think the extractor is broken at the base.
Should I replace the extractor and the ejector? Has someone experienced the same thing?
