Ruger old/original Vaquero

If I came across a Ruger Vaquero (not the New Model Vaquero) with a silver frame, but blued barrel and grips, is that most likely one that had its false case coloring worn off? Or did they make it in a blued/silver version?

What's the market on old Vaqueros like? What's a fair price these days?

No, Ruger never made any pinto guns. Either the case coloring was stripped, or was polished to bright metal. Or could be a stainless frame?

But original Vaqueros have not appreciated that much, so price of a used gun, $375 ~ $400 would be a good price.
