Do they have matching serial numbers on the grip part of the frame?

No. None of the parts are serially numbered other than the frame.

You may see the last 3 digits of the serial #stamped, but usually "scribed" on the back of the cylinder.............Coogs.

The reason I asked is I have 2 .41 blackhawks, one a 4 3/4" and the other a 6.5".

The shorty has a super blackhawk gripframe and I'm thinking about swapping gripframes.

If is a brass Super grip frame don't change it until you get a letter from Ruger. If it shipped that way from the factory you have a rare 41 mag, only a very few were shipped that way.
