Duelist-- I took note of your little dowel technique for snugging caps. I shoot an Uberti Colt Walker and from time to time have had a cap back off and make rotating the cylinder difficult to impossible. I thought your snug trick would make sense for me. Using wood, have you had a cap ignite using the dowel??

Very cool video. Thanks. And, your stuff rocks!!

I use a dowel as well, but not so much to keep the caps on than to ensure they go bang. I can get misfires (but fires on second strike) on one of my Pietta remmies if I don't press the caps on well. Thought about increasing hammer spring tension but would rather not.

Very impressive info. thanks.
If yer caps do not fit with finger pressure they are the wrong size.
Interesting, faster does not always mean more penetration.

Not a problem.

I see no problam using the #10's as he is looking for a tighter fit and sealing. Might just have to try this myself, next time. .... ;)

Did you guys also notice that he did not use the safety notches and instead only loaded five chambers. ..... ;)
