Ruger MKII or Browning?

Alright, thought I would ask some experts' opinions.... I want to purchase a 22LR pistol to improve my shooting at the range. However, I am undecided on which gun to get. I like the ruger very much, but its price tops $399 here; second is the browning at only at $249.
Is the ruger worth the $150 more?

Personally, I'd get a Buckmark. Then again, it is my only .22 LR. I found out that Remington (the cheap stuff) does well out of mine. Took a couple of hundred rounds to wear mine in enough.
I don't think using a hex tool is a problem, I have to use a bent paper clip to disassemble my Kimber Pro. I haven't seen the loosening problem others have mentioned. Field stripping and reassembling the Buckmark is fast and easy.
Also, I heard that reassembly of the Ruger is no fun. So where is the advantage of not needing a special tool?
My Buckmark shoots much better than I can, it puts me to shame.

I've got a Ruger MkII Gov't, and I love it, but let me point out that except for that one and the competition model, none of the MkII's should approach $399.

Just took a quick look at some prices, most of them seem to go from a low of $222 to about $350 on the high end.
