Ruger mini 30 tactical

I owned a mini 30 ranch and a couple of mini 14s. They weren't particularly accurate so I sold them.

But the tacticals are advertised as having a heavier barrel which should reduce barrel whip.

How about it? Are they any better?

Reports from our customers they are having pretty good luck with them. Ruger is getting better and better as the years go on IMO.

How does one mount a scope on the non-ranch models? Like the M1A?

I actually bought a mini 14 (synthetic) Friday. I was surprised by how accurate it is. I've heard the older ones weren't accurate once they got hot but this isn't the case with mine.

Im sure you will be happy with one.

Edit: I just read your question. It has a place to mount a scope and comes with a set of rings.
