Ruger mark iv multiple problems

Hi,

Wanted to share this just so it's out there.
Bought a mark iv hunter and out of the box it had two main issue. The rear pin on the grip would wiggle out and get lodged part way out and the front sight, even after an application of red lock tight continued to come loose. So after one disappointing range trip I sent it back.

It came back and they replaced a few small parts and all seemed well until I looked at the muzzle, only to see significant scratching. All the problems were fixed but it appeared that the gun was dropped on the ground or something. There was also a small chip on the rear of the bolt, although it was insignificant. I have now sent it back again. I don't want to be "that guy" who gets worked up over the smallest imperfection on a gun but this felt unacceptable to me. If I dropped one of my firearms and it got pretty deep scratches I would pay to have it fixed. This is my first time owning a ruger and I really hope this was just unlucky and that it will be resolved quickly. I have heard only good things about ruger. Just thought I'd put that out there.

Have a Ruger MKII and MKIII. Both 22/45. The cross pins in the grip area on both have a tendency to work themselves out. Not all the way out but just protruding and once in a while I find myself pushing them back in with my thumb nail.

I could probably secure them better but haven't really considered it a big problem. If they were self defense guns it would be a concern, even still, it shouldn't happen.

I noticed the last time I shot it, the front sight on the MKIII 5.5" Target is now a little loose. Held by a single screw it needs tightened up.

Maybe design flaws?. Neither is an SD pistol but accurate and fun to shoot so I don't worry about it too much.
