Anyone out there have one of these? I'm interested in feedback on the newer one with heavier fiberglass/plastic stock. I've seen pictures but not the real thing. Also, how smooth is the stainless bolt in the stainless receiver? I know galling can be a problem with stainless.
Thanks in advance for any information.
 
The new stock is a sorry excuse compared to the old one. The old stock is pretty ugly---but the new one is really cheap.

Ruger actions are hit and miss----some are smooth as glass--- others could stand for a day at the grinder. Try it at the store before you buy it.
