Ruger M77 value?

I just bought a Ruger M77 chambered in .243 win. It has a 20 inch factory heavy target barrel, has "made in the 200th year of american liberty" stamped on the barrel. I gave 500 for it, rip off or good deal? Any ideas what it is worth?
 
Check the serial number in Ruger's serial number history. Make sure the serial number coincides with a bicentennial barrel (otherwise, it's just a bicentennial barrel on a newer/older action).

In my opinion, you overpaid, unless you got a good scope (or other accessories) in the deal.
 
$450-$500 is the going rate for a standard used Ruger in good shape around here. For a target barreled version I don't think you did bad if it is in good shape
