Ruger LCR .38 owners. Three short questions.

I've put maybe 450 rounds through mine. Of those about 1-1/2 boxes were .357mags the rest about equal parts .38spc and .38+P. The gun is surprisingly comfortable to shoot and while recoil with mag is sharp it's not unmanageable. My 21 yo daughter shot a box of .38s And many 10mags. Now she wants one!

My brother and I got identical guns at about the same time and he has out roughly the same rounds through his. Neither of us have had any problems and we are both delighted with the LCR. I'll probably buy the LCR38 for my daughter in the spring and I'm hoping Ruger comes out with a .22Mag version - that would be a great kit gun.

BTW, I just adds the XS tritium front sight ($60 on Amazon).

I don't own one but shoot with someone who does. He's probably got around 700-800 rounds through his with no issues or problems, mostly +p's from what I can tell. If I had the extra $$$ I would've bought one this morning at the gun show. Sadly, just came home with ammo :(

The gun is surprisingly comfortable to shoot

+1, with standard pressure loads it's suitable for use as a regular plinking gun IMHO, with +p's it's still remarkably easy to handle. I'm just hoping Ruger starts making them as 6 shot .327 Mag's. Not holding my breath but I'd gladly swipe plastic and deal with the consequences later. :D

I have two, a .38 & a .357mag.

I have a couple hundred + rounds through each.
The .38 special, I have mostly used regular .38's with maybe a half box or so, of .38 +p's And, they were in various bullet weights. Don't recall offhand. Some were 110's, I know some were 125's. Some heavier.
The .357 magnum, I have used 110 gr., 125 gr. and some Silvertip 145 gr.
I have not had a problem with any of them.
Nice shooting little guns. Recoil is not too bad. I Mostly carry the .357 magnum.

I have put about 800 rounds through mine. Mostly reloads. Most are loaded to standard .38 Spl pressures.

I really like shooting LWC's through it.

Zero problems.

Don't own one, but I put roughly 5300 rounds of mostly +P through a test sample.
Frame stretched slightly, still in specs, shot more accurately at the end, wore most of the logo off the rubber grips. No problems as long as you remember to give the trigger a long reset.
