Ruger LCP First Pocket Pistol

Just took it to the range.
Flawless.
All rounds until I got tired in two inch bull at 5 yards.
Small but good in my hand, excellent trigger!! Carried in a pocket holster I don't even know I have it on me.
I only fired 6 of 50 rounds in the Ruger mag. The rest I fired in two Pro Mags.
The Pro Mags are more comfortable with a better finger grip although I am leery of them. They didn't hick up at all though.
I am really impressed with this pistol.
I would rather carry my Sigs but it's impractical how I dress most of the year to do so.
I feel confident with this pistol --- and I will have it on me --- not in a safe in the car.

Congrats on the new LCP!

I carry mine every day in the summer. Nothing fits better in pockets than an LCP IMO.

I also have a Promag mag for the LCP. It's been 100% reliable, but I only use it as a backup the two other mags I have for it.

My EDC is a LCP too, and I like to think of myself as a revolver guy.

This might sound silly, but I don't care...I think the perfect backup for a LCP is another LCP. Maybe a third LCP for an ankle holster, just in case.

I carry a Smith J frame OWB, or a LC9 IWB, sometimes a 1911 IWB, but I always have my LCP in my hip pocket.

Bought one for my wife, and daughter also.

My pocket carry is an LCP too. I intend to replace the slide spring with one a tad heavier. Right now, I have no idea where my brass lands - as far as I know, it's hitting somewhere near the Alabama line.

Pocket guns are great. Ive carried a TCP for quite a few years. This was purchased before Ruger changed the aweful trigger in the LCP. Im happy with the TCP so it wont be changing anytime soon.

Color me surprised on the ProMags. Glad to hear they are working out for you.

... excellent trigger!!
---///
Is it an LCP or LCP-Custom with the enhanced (and I believe red) trigger?
------------
Standard gen 2 LCP
Man I don't see how the trigger could be better.

I have an LCP Custom and love the red trigger. Together with the taller sights, it doubles the effective range of my Gen 1 LCP. Glad to hear the standard Gen. 2 trigger is also good.

I have owned many of the new .380 pocket pistols. The only ones I have now are my LCPs.

Congrats. I have a first generation LCP and it's been flawless. They are great little guns that can go anywhere, any time.

I had a Taurus TCP for a long time. I did not have any problems with it.

Started to IWB carry so figured I no longer needed the TCP.

Wrong!!!!! Missed it almost with in a week.

I have replaced it with a Ruger and I like it allot.

Seems no matter how and what you want to carry.
There is always a need for a throw it in your pocket and run to the store gun.
Should I holster up for a milk run? Yea, but do we???

Heck no thats were this gun shines. Instead of being un armed. I have some thing to defend my self with.

Not selling my pocket gun again.

I have the Beretta Pico I either pocket carry it with a full size IWB or use an IWB holster around the house in sweat pants. Great little guns.

I did it the other way around. I got my IWB gun (S&W SD9VE) and it worked well but I felt I needed something smaller. I bought my TCP and plan on keeping them both til I die as they both have a lifetime warranty and I like them both.

I love mine! Also my summer EDC, and I am a revolver guy as well.

A pic from my first time at the range, fell in love with this gun that day. It just gets better and better

7 yards on cheap blazer ammo

Never having shot a pocket pistol, I was amazed at it's accuracy.
It did not just throw bullets at the target as I perceived it would.

I have shot mine out to 30 yards with very good accuracy.
Works even better with the extended magazine.
Mine is several years old. The newer ones have a better trigger but not enough to make me upgrade.
