I was on the Ruger webpage looking at the 10/22T's when I saw on the bottom of the page "NEW K10/22TNZ". It had no picture so I have no idea what it looks like. I was wondering if anyone knew what it looked like. I would like to see one soon 'cause I am thinking about another .22 and I am a sucker for new shiny things.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I think it is a sweet looking piece of hardware. I might have just found what my next new "toy" is going to be. I wonder waht the trigger and action are like?

I picked up a copy of Ruger's 2001 catalog today. The K10/22TNZ shown in the catalog is different from the picture that I posted above. The one in the catalog has a silver receiver and barrel.

In Ruger firearm nomenclature, "K" stands for stainless, so more than likely the model he saw at the bottom of their site is the one you saw in the catalog, not the one in the pic posted. ;)

The stock in the picture I posted is identical to the one in the catalog. It looks like for the regular version - not the limited run of 1000 - that Ruger is using a silver receiver and the silver stainless barrel. According to Davidson's, the barrel on blued version is stainless, though the barrel is colored blue. Hence, the K nomenclature. The blued version exists. I have seen two at gun shows in Houston.
