Ruger GP100 cylinder wobble

My new GP100's cylinder wobbles a bit left and right, both cocked and uncocked. Is this something I should worry about? It doesn't move forward or backwards at all.

There is some play in mine too. I've had it for years and it still shoots as good as it did when new, if not a little better. If it shoots good I'd say its fine.

By "wobble" I assume you mean some rotational play that shows when you turn the cylinder. A small amount, barely perceptible, is normal and no problem. If you mean the cylinder will move sideways on its arbor, you have a problem and the gun should be returned to Ruger.
