Any recommendations for a compact grip? I just ordered a 3" GP100 and the grip in the picture looks pretty big, too big for my liking. Thanks in advance!

Check out Badger Grips. I've got them on my Security Six and soon to be SP 101. Eagle Grips have good looking grips also.

Dan-O beat me to it for
a compact grip straight from
Ruger.

The same grip design is also
offered in a larger size that is
about the same depth as the
standard issue Hogues but
is not as big front to back and
the corners are rounded like
the compact.

Also check out Altamont
Ruger GP 100 grips; they're
a bit fancier.

Yep! I use the compact on the 3" GP100, which I carry, and the full size on the Match Champion, which I do not carry but shoot regularly at the range.

Those Altamont compact snakeskin pattern grips would be my choice:

That picture looks to me like my full size rather than compact. This pic is a 41 Special conversion.

Yessir RealGun those are the factory compacts that take the same size panel inserts as the SP101s.
Have a set on my GP100 44 Special and as soon as my youngest saw them he begged me for a set for his 6" GP100... and got them.
The factory compacts are perfect for my liking.
