First chance I've had to put new Hogue grips on my relatively new Ruger GP-100. I think I like them. So let see your Ruger/Hogue Porn...

Now that is nice!!!...Since posting I started having trouble with the grips. They have a slight jiggle to them, and the base screw will not tighten. Any suggestions???

I took my grips off to see what might be the problem but I cant see what would be wrong. The only thing I can see is if it was hard to start the screw in the fist place that you might have cross threaded it and striped out the thing in side the grip.

GP100 with cocobolo Hogues. They're a little dingy in this picture. I no longer have that holster either.

BTW, the DA trigger is so light and smooth, you'd think it couldn't pop a primer, but it does, every time.

Hey Mad Cow

Great gun!!! ;) Is that a special edition or has it been customized with the gold trigger, hammer, and cyl. release??? :D

It's a limited addition; an FFL friend tried to get me another one but when he called Davidson's in Prescott they told him they have only seen one. Don't know if it's the one I have or how many were produced.

MadCow,That is another distributor model known as the "TALO".The model number on the box should be KGP-141T.If im right they made 1000 or 1500 of them from serial # 174-41939 to 174-45150.You can call Ruger and ask for the records dept. and ask them for a factory "letter" on the gun it is free.
