I don't know much about the 32-20 and 32 H&R mag caliber, but I picked up a very nice looking revolver this week. I got a great deal, and I like learning about the various calibers. Anyone have much experience shooting these .32s? It's a new in box, originally purchased in March of 1989. Yes, I will shoot it!

Hello, I shoot an ocasional 32-20 and .32S&W Long in a variety of guns. They will kill anything short of deer well. 32-20 shells are pricey but can be (carefully) reloaded with 115grain cast bullets up to about 1150 fps in a barrel your length. That is a lot of whack, about like a 9mm luger. The .32 S&Wlong cannot be loaded that fast, topping out around 950 fps with that bullet weight , but your .32H&R manum can equal hot 32-20 loads (I think). Try some factory Magtech 32 S&W long wadcutters which should cost about $10 a box of 50; they are very accurate, light shooting with no blast and kill small game well to 25yards. Nice combo congratulations! :)
