Ruger Blackhawk worth

What would be a fair price for a 7 1/2" stainless steel Ruger Blackhawk be?

Is it just me or does it seem as if 7 1/2" barrel lengths are not as popular?

Not enough info.

Old Model (and if so, unconverted?)

Caliber?

Modifications?

Under-barrel warning or side-barrel if New Model?

Are you talking trade-in value or private sale? Private sale I would say if you got $400, be happy. No it's not just you, you are correct 7.5" varieties are not as sought after as the shorter barreled models.

Jim,

The warning label is on the side.

When did Ruger make these and how many?

I think you are right they are not as popular. For me the 7 1/2 is a little too long. the balance on the 6 1/2s are perfect.

If you get a good deal on it, grab it though. They are great guns in all barrel lengths

I love long barrels. It makes it so easy to reach target velocities without having to load hot to compensate for the short barrel, which increases recoil, muzzle rise and blast. Longer barrels are heavier, less recoil, and easier to hit with due to increased sight radius.

The holsters are more. Big whoop.

7 1/2" Ruger Blackhawk is just what I want...

Not wild about SS.

I'm guessen I would pay $400-$500 if I had it.

My NIB 5 1/2 BBL cost me about $550.00
