i sure would like it if ruger made the black hawk in 454 casull or even better in 460 sw it could be a 5 shot that wouldnt matter to me id like it for hunting want to put a scope on it to

Yeah, it would be nice if they expanded the SA lineup on the bisley or super blackhawk frames.

Maybe .454, .480, .445... One of those.

Basically, all the calibers you listed are either stretch frame revolvers, or require a 5 shot cylinder, because of the lug locations.
Blackhawks are an 'O'-frame design. No side plates. No swing out cylinder. More metal in the frame.
The problem is, of course, that making the window bigger, in effect, makes the design weaker.
Gunsmiths (Like gary reeder) all over the country rechamber blackhawks as part of '5 shooter' type package deal, but you'd prolly be money ahead buying a new BFR or freedom arms revolver. I beleive the BFR and FA wheelguns have forged frames.

Another of the problems is that ruger made a small run of 357 R-max revolvers with the long window. These are getting hard to find now, because people are using them as foundations for full custom heirloom type guns, with price tags to match.
Didn't catch on all that well at the time, IIRC. Rumors say it developed gas cutting problems. Discontinued really fast. Not sure if the problem was genuine or not, it really doesn't matter.

You can always re-chamber your current blackhawk to something more substantial, (Like .356 GNR, .41 GNR, 410GNR, etc) but again, cost will be a factor. Ever want a .44 magnum necked down to .41 magnum, loading 170 grain bullets to over 2000 FPS? Gary Reeder is the man to talk to....
That's a simple job, and not too much money.
Want a .454 casull necked down to .41 mag?
That's got to be done on a 5 shot cylinder....
I think that one will wind up costing you around $200+ shipping, both ways, a set of custom dies, + a .41 magnum blackhawk donor gun.......That is, if Gary Reeder is still doing those conversions with the stock barrel...........
Then you're stuck loading your own or buying custom made wildcat cast performance for $$$$
Then, once you have that $500 worth of work done to it, you realize that you can't shoot it, it hurts to shoot.
Then you need to have a bisley gripframe fitted to your gun, at additional expense, just to make it fun to shoot....

Blackhawks are great guns, made plenty strong for hot .44 mag, etc, but if you want hotter, I'd advise against it.

Buy that new Xframe, FA, or BFR.
Handcannons forever!!!!
