Ruger Bisley Gripframe question

A few months ago I purchased a 44 Spl Bisley Flattop Blackhawk. One of the Lipsey's runs. Love the gun but I want to change the grip panels. I see gripmakers ads that say they make Bisley grips. But they don't differentiate between Rimfire, New Flattop and New Blackhawk. Is it one size gripframe fits all on Rugers?

All the various Ruger Bisley models share the same gripframe pattern - so you can obtain any "Ruger Bisley" grip (Colt & import SA "Bisley" grips are a different size/shape than the Ruger's).

But many grip makers will not make a set for a Bisley frame unless you send them the frame for fitting. Cary Chapman has made a few sets for my Bisley framed Rugers and does a very nice job.

Best Bisley Grips

Have these grips on my six Rugers, including a Lipsey's 44. Best I've ever used.

GeauxTide: Nice looking work. I'm leaning toward a checkered Micarta grip. Will watch this ebay site.
