Higher capacity ruger 96/44 magazines
I love my new 96/44. I hate the magazine capacity. There's 2 options I've been thinking about. Making entirely new magazines out of current ones, by epoxying a block to fit it in the ruger mag well, or making a magazine adaptor that would fit the ruger mag well and accept current magazines. I'd prefer the latter as there would be less modification involved
I figure Desert eagle .44 magazines would probably work for this purpose, but they're a bit expensive. I got to thinking about m1 carbine mags, as the overall length and width would be similar. Can anyone advise me of the practicality of using M1 carbine mags to feed .44 magnum? Responses from members with the components in question who can test this idea would be especially valued
