If this is a factory-new gun from a dealer, I'd think there's something in the instructions. If this is a factory trigger, and you have no data, contact Ruger.
Last, seek out your local gunsmith...
In general, the adjustments are via Allen screws; on many guns you have to remove the stock to gain access. Try this, and holler back at what you've discovered.
Most rifle triggers are adjustable for strength of pull, and amount of sear engagement. Don't go overboard on the latter, or you'll be saying "Oops" more than you want to...
