Ruger 5.5" Bisley

I've now been to the range three times with my new .45 Colt Ruger Bisley.

I love it! The balance is great, it's accurate with most loads, and also closer to POI with different loads than most .45 Colts I've tried. It also has the best trigger from the factory I've seen on a Ruger in a LONG time.

I've tried loads ranging from FL equivalent to a 300 grain at around 1150, and everything did fine.

I've had exactly the same experience with my Bisley 45 Colt. The first time I took it to the range, I was pleasantly surprised at the one-hole group at 50 ft. & sights right on. In spite of being SA, it's a gas on steel plates at 10 yds. and at 50 yds.

Mine is the most accurate SA I have. It is more fun than the .44 Mag. because the recoil is not as sharp. The only problem I have is that it gets so hot after several full cylinders that it is hard to reload without burning fingers.

That's the limited edition gun from Accusport?

They are nice. Did you have any other SA experience before buying that one? If so, which calibers/models?
