Picked up a "used" unfired Ruger SR Toklat in .454 (really like my Alaskan, wanted a 2nd gun with a longer tube but 7.5 was too long for me) and it comes with 2 sets of sights.
One is the standard SRH ramped red front sight and outlined square rear sight, the 2nd set is more like what is on my Mk III Hunter and Single Six Hunter, small brass bead and V-Notch rear sight. It also comes with integral scope mounts/rings but I have no plans for that currently.
My question is, I like the fine bead front sights (personal preference) but find that the rear square sights are more accurate (though the V-Notch is nice for quick acquisition). Is there any reason I wouldn't be able to mix and match the two (proper sight in required of course) or would that completely throw off POA/I?
