Ruger 22/45 scope advice

I want to put a scope on my 22/45, but I am kind of cheap so I was looking at this one on amazon:
http://www.amazon.com/BSA-2-7X28-Se...0C/ref=sr_1_12?ie=UTF8&qid=1339072230&sr=8-12
Really that $90 is kind of a lot more than I wanted to pay. There are some on there for $20-$50 range that I would rather spend but most of those seemed to have a shortish eye relief. It seems to me even 10 inches is a bit short if you are holding the pistol in a traditional stance. Although I could alter my positioning if needed as we are talking about long distance shooting (50 yards and more) where I may even use a bench or something as support.
So basically I have two questions. What is the cheapest scope with at least a 2x7 power and 15 inches or more of eye relief, and maybe more importantly is there some limit as to what the scope should weigh on a 22/45? I imagine at some point the weight could interfere with the slide causing load failures or something. Thanks for your thoughts...

just realized

I just realized that the rail is mounted to part of the pistol that does not move during firing, so maybe the question of weight is not important. So just thoughts on cheap scopes...
