Ruger 22/45 Report

Finally got the OK from the wife to get a .22 pistol after the "Possum in the Coop" episode last fall.

Picked up a Ruger 22/45 Friday and I really like it.

Shot some Federal HiPowers, Rem YellowJackets and Winchester Wildcat HiVel's.

All functioned great w/ 1.5" groups at 15 yds. offhand.

Take Down/ Reassembly was a little different than what I'm used to but not all that bad.

Don't know about the polymer lower but, so far, would recommend this pistol to anyone. - barrel is a "BEAST".

I have one of those... P-512... I love it! It took a bit of a break in period, about 400-500 rounds. Accurate as heck!

We have one, the wife enjoys shooting it, as do I.

Have had a 22/45 for over a year now. Great gun. Probably the most accurate pistol we own. Unlike the other pistols in our collection no work had to be done to it. I am thinking about getting another.
