Hello, I finally purchased a harris bi-pod for my 10-22 target plinker. I need to remove the ring off the swing swivel to attach the bi-pod. Just wondering if there is a certain technique to remove the ring? I dont really intend to attach a sling anytime in the near future. Just thought i would ask before i cut it off. Thank for any advice.
