RRA lower + BCM upper?

Real quick - I have to put an AR together and I may want to put a BCM upper on a RRA lower and there shouldn't be any issues, right? They both use milspec pins? It says so, but...... anyone done this? Is it gonna get some weird gap in it?

Yup, you won't have any issues. As said, there can sometimes be some slop between the upper/lower, but that's more a result of tolerance stacking than anything else- you can have that from a 100% factory gun as well.

Shoot it, enjoy it. I expect it will run extremely well.

..and if there is a little slop between the two, and it really bothers you, you can stick in one of those little $2 accuwedge thingies.

If they a re both in spec there should be no problem .RRA is on the tight side so there should be very litle slop. RRA will be a slightly differant color than Bushmaster. Bushmaster is more black RRA is more Charcoal in color .

I got the discounted BCM instead, lol. They have dings and blemishes so you get them for cheaper :o

I could give maybe a $#!+ and-a-half about it looking pretty, lol.

Blemishes or not it's BCM ;)

RRA push pins are tight IMO, everytime i use my friends RRA lower with my BCM upper it's a tight fit. I switch uppers due to me having a standard mil spec trigger and him having the RRA 2 stage match
