RRA 2 Stage Match Trigger

hey guys,

If i purchase the Smith & Wesson M&P15 MOE and i remove my trigger, can i install the Rock River Arms 2 Stage Match Trigger Kit? or does this kit only fit Rock River Arms Lowers?

I don't want to spend $120 on this trigger kit, if it doesn't install properly.

I'm still undecided on which AR-15 to choose from. its either the M&P15 MOE or a Rock River Arms.

Thanks for the help guys!

It will fit, but it may be cheaper to buy the RRA with that trigger in it.

I would go with a better trigger if I was buying aftermarket. My RRA 2 stage trigger wore out after a couple thousand rounds. The sear wore and the gun started to double fire on me. I am not sure if others have had this problem, and it is a great trigger pull, but i don't feel like the life span is worth the extra money. I don't know if mine wearing out so quickly was a fluke or what, but I felt it should have lasted much longer. I would add a bit more cash and go with a Jewel or other higher end trigger.

I have three lowers with RRA 2 stage triggers. I love them. I think that are very good for the price. I normally see them for ~$80 on gunbroker and arfcom.

I bought a RRA 2-stage match trigger kit for $120. (installed) from my gunsmith to replace the factory trigger on my Colt AR-15 A3. Theres a world of difference in accuracy.

You can buy a complete NM lower parts kit for about the same price as you stated for the trigger alone. Then you have a bunch of those extra parts you lose occasionally.

Unlikely...

A RRA stripped lower alone, with no extra parts will cost about the same as a RRA match trigger.

I bought one of the first RRA NM triggers that came out, somewhere in 2001. About 2000 rounds later, it started doubling and tripling and worse. RRA send me a new one at no cost. I also bought another one for my spare, and have about 15,000 and 8000 rounds through them, and no more problems. They both still make the 4.5 pound weight limit for EIC matches.

I'm also a big fan of the RRA Match Trigger. An affordable, quality unit that should fit into a Smith AR-15 rifle with no problem.
