Rossi single shot rifle

Does anyone know how to get the stock off a Rossi single shot rifle short of burning it off? :( After removing the but plat, I look down in the hole and see the head of the bolt but there are no groves or lands for a tool to grip it, for removal.:eek:

I would think it would either be a slotted screw or a 7/16" bolt head. Are you saying you couldn't see a hex head shape or is round? If it is round, it should have a slot for a screwdriver. Use a very long screwdriver with the right size slot on it and it shouold come out.
 
There is no slot or phillips groves in the head of the bolt and there is no hex. I does not appear to be any means of applying force to the head of the bolt. There appears to be some inscription on the head that I cannot make out, but no groves of any sort or any outside edges to grip.
