Rossi Rio Grande

Just saw an ad for the Rossi Rio Grande. I've always wanted one of their 92's but this .30-30 looks good to me. Looks like an older Marlin, so close I'm sure they're involved somehow. Anybody seen one, shot one?
Like I need another levergun........

I think it is going to take a bit before these start appearing on gunshelves. From the pictures I have seen, it sure looks like a copy of the M336.

Don't know if it is different under the surface.

This will really hurt Marlin. Cheap labor, same design, it should sell for less.

I just bought a Rio Grande 30-30 stainless steel. I think l will like it a lot.

My local gun shop has one listed for a little over $400. Nice in hand!

Mine was just over $400. Having the opportuynity to put a scope on it and shoot it, I like it even more.

Wow, blast from the past! Didn't even recognize the original post. Looking forward to a range report. Still pretty sure I don't need another levergun but just bought another bolt gun I don't need. Gotta be fair about this, right?
