Rossi R351 Review

I picked up a Rossi snubby about a month ago and so far I'm liking it a lot. I'd love to hear from anyone else who has tried one of these. Especially if you have suggestions for holsters, grips, etc.

Cons:
-Pretty dang heavy. I've been carrying it almost every day and I've gotten used to it, but there are definitely more comfortable options.

-Not much aftermarket support. I've only found a few holsters and the Pachmayr grips I put on it are literally the only aftermarket grips I could find.

Pros:
-Totally reliable so far

-Fairly accurate (My groups weren't great at first but they've tightened up as I've gotten used to it. I feel like it shoots really well for a snubby.)

-Good trigger. Double-action pull is really good for the price.

-Handles +P loads.

-Inexpensive (I paid around $270 at Academy).

Have a 461 and a 462. Love em both. Wanted 6 shot snubbies.

I think holsters for Taurus 85's should fit your 5 shot rossi.

Pachmayr is the only rubber grips I know of that fit. Pretty sure you can get wood ones from thailand on ebay.

I agree with Dan O.
At 24 ozs. this 38 spec. will handle any +P ammo you want. The extra weight
eats up recoil and this allows you to get back on the beam quicker for your followups.
I've had the 357 version 3 times and all three were 100% accurate and nothing ever broke. I still maintain that Rossi got this design right whether it's a 38 spec or the 357 version.
Maybe in 10 or 20 years more I'll come back on this.

Yeah, I have to agree about the recoil. This thing is a pleasure to shoot. It's not the most comfortable gun I've ever carried, but it's the most comfortable "carry gun" I've ever shot. Good point! Should have mentioned it myself.
