Rossi R 92 magazine tubes

do any of ya'll know anyone that converts the mag tube on Rossi R 92s
to work like the mag tubes on Henry rifles?
I have 2 of them, a 38/357 and 45 colt/454 casull, both stainless, and would like to have them done that way. Would make it a lot easier and safer to unload.
I am 73, and grew up around Marlin and Winchester lever guns and always had to run the cartridges thru the chamber, keeping fingers away from triggers.
Never had a problem, but you know Murphy's Law
 
I think it would be a lot of money to have a competent gunsmith modify or fabricate a mag tube like you describe for the .38/.357.

However, the .454 casull 92s originally came with a mag tube setup to allow loading through the tube. You'd have to verify that a mag tube from an older stainless .454 Rossi would successfully thread into your receiver, but if so that should be an easy swap.

I definitely agree that you should talk with Steve Young from stevesgunz.com. Steve has forgotten more about the Rossi 92 than most people will ever know.

Or just buy a Henry with the side gate, they’ve also retained the traditional tube for easy unloading.
 
I have a Henry 22 with that loading, and a new Henry 45-70 with both the loading gate and the tube loading and unloading. When I bought my 454 I was hoping it had that tube as the older ones do. It did not, but you are right maybe it can be traded out with no problem.
 
I like the 92 WINCHESTER STYE, is balanced really nice, and carries really well.
To me. most of the Henry rifles I have seen do not balance nearly as nice.

And I have already sent an email to STEVES GUNZ to see if he knew of anyone doing that type of work.

I have two Big Boy Steel Henry’s, one in .357 and one in .41mag. Both are the 20” barrel length and to me they seem very well balanced, it’s one of the things I like best about them. But if you’re looking at the brass versions with the octagon barrels they definitely feel front heavy to me too. There’s definitely a difference in feel between these two types.
 
I called Rossi, checked with numrich, or gun parts inc, and two places Rossi recommended, Midway USA, and cheaper than dirt, to no avail.
I have an email in to STEVES GUNZ, will see what he says.
