Rossi m95. Trade for it?

I've never heard of a Rossi m95 .38 spc. I had a Rossi m88 and I liked it but on an impulse trade I got rid of it. Anyway, the m95 isn't in my gun digest value book, I don't see one for sale on gunbroker, and google hasn't helped me out. Can someone give me some info on it and maybe a price value on the gun? A guy has offered Me his m95 gun in exchange for ammo. I got him to agree to trade in exchange for 450 rounds of .22lr, and 100 rounds of .45. That's roughly $90 in ammo per what I paid for it at Walmart. Tax isn't included in that figure but 6.5% isn't much. Is it a good trade? I know that people these days jack the prices of their .22 ammo up but I'm just being honest and going by what I actually paid for it. Should I inflate the price of ammo like everyone else? The .22 ammo is hollow points and the .45's are brass cased hollow points. I'd like some insight folks before I make a trade. I'm not familiar with the Rossi m95.

Hows come I can't find people wanting to make a deal like that?

If it works, and passes Jim March's revolver checkout procedure, I go for it.

Lee-it's just a good ' ole armslist ad that I've been watching. I've seen his cash price go down over the past two weeks or so. He is now down to $180 cash. We seem to be having a hard time meeting up though as my truck is in the shop and I'm not getting home from work before his bedtime since I'm having to ride with someone else, maybe it will work out and maybe it won't.

What I really don't understand is why he turned down my offer for a raven .25, holster, 150 rounds of .25 ammo, and 100 rounds of brass cased .45 hollow points. The raven , holster, and ammo isn't worth a fortune but its sure worth more that 450 rounds of .22. Some folks aren't that bright I guess.

Some people simply value 450 rounds of .22 LR more than a Raven, right now.
I'm good to go (buy in bulk, when the buying is good ;)), but most of my family has been really hurting for .22s for at least a year. Many shooting trips failed to materialize over the last year, because they didn't have enough .22 LR to let the kids (or even themselves) shoot for just a couple hours.
