Rossi '92 Broken Firing Pin

Col, is it the Rossi Puma you are talking about?

[Edit] I havn't seen anything on Numrich, or Brownells for a firing pin for that Rossi 92. I tried also looking for a Winchester 92 firing pin. Nothing at all, i'd sugjest checking out this site http://marauder.homestead.com/files/Rossitune.htm. And contact them to see if they could know where to buy one.

Numrich or Rossi for parts.

If you'er not a genius with mechanical things, take it to a good gunsmith.

It took me a week to put mine back together and I've been working on guns for many years. I had never been inside one before and won't do it again.

Model '92 Firing Pin

Capntibbz, et al. it is the Rossi Puma. It has a puma on the left side of the receiver.

The fellow in Alexandria is no longer there. I have tried to contact Steve's Guns in Texas. So far I haven't heard back from them. I never thought it would be so hard to find a firing pin. The obvious places just do not have any. :(

'92 Firing Pin

Steve from Steves Guns in Texas got back with me. He said that firing pins are hard to find since Rossi was bought out. He does not have any. He is in the process of having some made and has said to check back in about a month. I thought I would pass this info. along for anyone else who might find themselves in the same boat.
