Rossi 851 Range Report.

Well, took the Rossi to the range today and put 100 rounds thru it. Gotta say, it functioned flawlessly. Has adjustable sights, gun was shooting a little left but a click or two on the sight and it's perfect at 7 yards. Orange front sight gave great visibility, action was smooth, break was crisp, and set-up was easy to feel and hold at. I was pretty impressed for a $300 revolver. No regrets here. Much more accurate than I expected.

Glad to here you like it! I'm thinking about one of the 38 snubs.

The new Rossis are supposed to handle +p ammo. Since they are made by Taurus, Im sure they will, but I'd like to know how it behaves after 100 consecutive rounds of 38+P.

I got one of these back in the late 80's and shot it excusively for years. ( Just let it go as a matter of fact.) BEst "off brand" revolver I ever owned. Function, fit, finish, style and value were all noteable IMHO. No complaints at all.
