Rosie is gone from The View. Supposed to be by mutual agreement....:p :) :D :D

O'Donnell said in a statement that "my needs for the future just didn't dovetail with what ABC was able to offer me."

In other words they fired me!:D

Gone? You mean -- Gone, Gone?

Nah. We won't be that lucky. She'll turn up someplace else. Her ratings were too good, somebody else will pick her up.

I thought the sun seemed a little brighter this morning.

P.S I never watched the view either but the less air time that windbag gets the better.

Bill O'Reilly is, to me, just the opposite end of the windbag spectrum. But then again, I wouldn't really care if he got fired, either.

I guess I'm always a little happy to see a windbag get canned, whether it's Imus, Rosie, or if one day O'Reilly gets his walking papers. I just don't particularly care.

Rsublime4life pretty much said it, most of us have never really paid much attention to the view until that thing became the loudest of the cackling hens, and now she's gone. I still don't know why ranges never started selling targets in her image, or atleast a reasonable facsimile. I'd have bought a lifetime supply.

Great news on Rosies departure from the airwaves in June.

Unfortunately, she will probably resurface someplace else to open her BIG mouth and try to spread her goofy political ideas as well as spout off on gun ownership etc., etc., etc.

She will be back. The producers know that everyone loves controversy, and who better than Rosie? She could work up Gandhi into a fist throwing frenzy.

I for one, am sorry to see her go.

She was doing a much better job of undermining her credibility than any of her detractors.

Actually it came down to ABC wanting her to sign a 3yr deal and her only wanting to sign a 1yr deal.

Yeah, I bet you are right. I am sure it had nothing to do with her saying "eat me" and grabbing her crouch in front of high school girls. I understand that some parents walked out on the spot. But I am sure you are right. They would have loved to have had three more years of that kind of brainless antics.:barf:

It works this way. They wanted her out, but they said, OK we will say you did not want the new contract and decided to leave. Looks better for both sides. They did not want to tell the public that they wanted her fat (sub anything you want) mouth out of there....just public relations.

Um...ABC and Rosie both released statements that confirm my statement. ABC wanted Rosie to sign a 3yr deal with a no competition clause. She refused because she has already in talks with her old syndicate about a new show.

Like her or not, Rosie raised the View's rating by almost 20% since she came on the show.

All part of the game. Wait and see.:)

I could do that by showing old viewings of Deep Throat...does not mean it is good.

Correction, more than 20%....I forgot there are a lot of men like me that would watch.:p
