I see they rifles are available pretty cheap several places, but no barrels anywhere. Midway lists them as discontinued. I am guessing Rossi left this gem an orphan.
SO, can someone confirm the Rossi switch barrel is dead?
 
I've been sort wondering the same thing. I did see a brand new one at Walmart yesterday that came with two barrels for it. .410 & 22lr. They also still have guns with matched barrel pairs and sets (of three) on the Rossi website.
 
Are you sure it was a Wizard and not just a matched pair? The barrels for the matched pairs have to be fitted at the factory. The Wizard barrels are drop-in.
 
I had heard Rossi discontinued the Wizard. Just after I ordered one in 45-70.
I dont know why though. Seems like a great idea to me. My 45-70 works great.
Ugly as all heck, but it works.
