Romanian .22LR Training Model

Although my surplus Romanian .22 rifle has very tight groups at 50 yards (1.5" with IRON SIGHTS), the point of impact is up and to the left of center consistently. Yes, I have the rear sight leaf set to 50 yards so the impact point should be even with the center of the target but it isn't. I know I can change the elevation using a special tool on the front sight post to move it for up/down point of impact. I just have to find the right tool.

More importantly...how do I change the windage so the rifle doesn't shoot to the left by 1.5" like it's doing? I really don't see a way to adjust these sights for left/right point of impact.

Thanks in advance,

Joel

in looking at mine it would apear you drift the wedge holding the rear sight

my romanian came with a cleaning kit in the buttstock

in the kit is the front sight tool

maybe CAI has extra kits
