My dad had a single-shot, hex or octagonal barreled, rolling block .22, with the name...P.H. Pieper(SP?)...does anyone know anything about this gun?....I'll have my sister take pics...she has the thing, just curious!!

Belgian [ Liege] gunmaker Pieper produced several seven barrel 22 rimfire rifles based on the Remington rolling block !
He was a well known gun maker .I found the above info in one of my books. Since he used the rolling block action I'm sure he made a number of other models.Liege was , and is a major gunmaking town .I think FN firearms are still made there.

Wow, I'd'a loved to get one of those for cheap when they were. I love the old guns from the 1800's, I just hate the cost of them and the cost to shoot. If your sister ain't using it, you should try to get your hands on it and fire some CB's and (I assume they'd be safe, but you should double check) shorts through it.
